We’ve grown a lot since we started Wellyx in 2015

World 2015

This year the world struck a deal on climate change, the trans-pacific partnership got done, Mayweather and Pacquiao finally went into the ring & Great Britain got a new princess named Charlotte.

Wellyx 2015

The idea behind Wellyx was conceived in our spa & health club. After years of using multiple software’s that refused to talk to each other, we finally decided to make our own software.

Fun Fact :

We had originally decided to call the company Voyager, after the Star Trek show. This was dropped and Wellyx was born in its place.

World 2016

Colombia struck a peace deal, the USA withdrew from the trans-pacific partnership, Great Britain voted to leave the EU, Donald Trump is elected U.S. president & Pokémon Go briefly took over everyone’s social life.

Wellyx 2016

The team finally starts coding the software after a year of designing it. The first version is released. Everyone is ecstatic. But we want more, so we send it back for more development.

Fun Fact :
We thought we could design and develop the software with a team of 5 people. In the end it took 43 people for us to achieve success.

World 2017

Donald Trump is inaugurated, NFL players protested during the national anthem, Great Britain triggered article 50, the USA witnessed a total solar eclipse & Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s got engaged.

Wellyx 2017

The second version of Wellyx is released. We start testing in our health club & spa and the system works beautifully. We instantly go from using five software’s to using one & saving time/money in the process.

Fun Fact :

Just as we are about to start testing, we decide to locate to bigger offices. So, we start live testing, while moving furniture.

World 2018

Donald Trump triggered a trade war, Democrats won back the House, #MeToo movement went global, the United States left the Iran nuclear deal & Meghan Markle joined the British royal family.

Wellyx 2018

We start selling and see huge demand in the UK, USA & Ireland. 3 years of hard work, stress and hair loss finally start paying off. We decide to work on a 3^rd iteration of Wellyx, to conquer both fitness and wellness.

Fun Fact :
By 2018 we had more people working for Wellyx then our health clubs combined.

World 2019

Brexit is still not resolved, Meghan Markle gave birth to Little Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, we witnessed the Notre Dame Cathedral catch fire and Game of Thornes finally came to an end.

Wellyx 2019

The 3rd iteration of Wellyx is launched, with features like facility management, clock in/out for staff and a super charged member/client portal.

Fun Fact :
During the development of early versions of Wellyx, several weddings were put on hold. With version 3 done, and the pressure off, 2019 saw several members of the team finally tying the knot. Best of luck to them all!

World 2020

After a great start for Wellyx in 2020, business came to an abrupt end with the spread of the deadly Coronavirus. With hundreds of thousands of people dead, and over 22 million more infected all over the world. The world is anxiously waiting for an successful vaccine. Actual Brexit also happened in January 2020.

Wellyx 2020

Several new modules were released in Q2 2020 including staff app and automation. Although development slowed significantly due to Covid 19, several more modules are planned for release in Q3 2020 including gift cards, payroll & inventory.
